1.Product Description:

An automatic transmission rebuild kit contains all the parts that, by design are going to eventually wear out, and consist mainly of new clutches, bands, seals, gaskets, bushings, bearings and internal transmission sealing rings along with a new transmission filter.
The transmission seal kit prevents fluid from slipping past the input shaft.
The transmission seal that is most commonly replaced to prevent leakage is the tail shaft seal.
This seals the driveshaft where it attaches to the output shaft of the transmission. It is attached at this point with the use of splines. As the vehicle moves, the driveshaft moves in and out as bumps are encountered. |
